The art of personalisation

From your garage to bespoke leather. How we transform a photograph of your vehicle into a hand-finished portfolio.

Step 1: Capture & Upload Your Vehicle

  • The Action: Choose a clear, side-profile photo of your vehicle.
  • What Works Best: A clean, eye-level shot taken from the side, with good lighting and contrast against the background.
  • What Happens Next: Simply upload your image during the checkout process along with your VIN (vehicle identification number)

To ensure the best possible line illustration, consider including a quick visual guide with "Do's & Don'ts":

✓ Do:

  • Take the photo straight-on from the side (90-degree profile).
  • Ensure the entire car is within the frame (wheels, roof line, front/rear bumpers).
  • Use adequate daylight to highlight body lines and wheel spokes.

✕ Don't:

  • Use angled 3/4 front or rear shots (unless explicitly requested).
  • Use dark, grainy, or heavily blurred photos where wheels or body lines are hidden in shadow.
  • Crop off parts of the vehicle (e.g., cut-off wheels or bumpers).

Step 2: Digital Vector Artwork Creation

  • The Craft: Once received, our design team manually translates your photograph into a precise vector line art drawing.
  • The Detail: We capture the key defining contours, silhouette, wheel design, and distinctive coachwork lines of your specific car, ensuring an accurate and iconic representation of your exact specification.
  • Proofing: You will receive a digital proof of the artwork to review and approve before any physical crafting begins.

Step 3: Construting the Portfolio

  • Hand Crafted: The portfolio is hand crafted from the highest quality leather and suede materials on the market.
  • The Technique: With artwork confirmed, your custom side-profile outline is high-precision laser-etched directly onto the exterior leather of your document portfolio. Your vehicles VIN number is also etched onto the interior of the folder.
  • The Result: A truly bespoke design that becomes an extension of your vehicle. The laser burns clean, permanent, and crisp lines into the grain of the hide, creating a subtle, elegant tactile finish that will not fade, rub off, or wear away over time.

Step 4: Final Hand Finishing & Inspection

  • The Care: After engraving, the portfolio is treated with wax to lock in the designs and ensure they are protected for many years to come.
  • Quality Check: Every finished portfolio undergoes rigorous quality inspection to ensure the leather, stitching, and custom engraving meet our highest standards before being carefully packaged in a protective box and dispatched.
